Parents Corner, late March:
Well, its almost April and we are about to start the last quarter of the year. The students are growing up, and will be in 8th grade before we know it! We have come a long way this year, and we have worked really hard, but there are still two more crucial months left. Hopefully spring break helped re-invigorate everyone for our final push.
FCAT testing is coming up the week of April 16, and it is a really big deal for everyone. During this week, please try to not stress out your child if possible, and make every effort to make sure they are ready to test. There are many great resources for students to prepare for the FCAT, including FCAT Explorer which your child can work on to best prepare for the test. We will be devoting a significant amount of time towards preparing for the test in class, and we will be excited when we are through with it.
